Dear Aunt Calamity:

I work at a university and the moment I begin working on the scientific document prep system, my eyes become itchy and red, I sneeze constantly and I break out in hives. My doctor thinks I'm crazy. Any ideas?

That's easy. You have a LaTeX allergy, for which there is no known treatment. You'll have to switch to another typesetting system or find another job.
